Collection: Female Empowerment

“Well-behaved women seldom make history.”  That popular statement was penned by Laurel Thatcher Ulrich.  She is a Pulitzer Prize-winning American historian specializing in early America and the history of women, and a professor at Harvard University. 

As an artist and witness of popular culture it has provided a well-spring of inspiration for this collection.
